I'm looking for a new provider and they've just come to Canada.

Wondering if anyone has used them in the States. Good? Bad? Pros? Cons? Any feedback would be great.

Thanks,
Mike

I will chip in, but I am coming from a different perspective: I integrate IDXbroker data feeds into websites. Please, keep that in mind. Before I selected IDXbroker I reviewed many IDX providers.

I found IDXbroker to be easy to work with. They are flexible and open-minded. In regards to quality: if you are happy with your MLS data, chances are that you will be happy with IDXbroker solutions. Remember, IDXbroker does not create your data. It makes the data available on your site by creating a data interface. There is something else: I saw many posts on internet about how IDXbroker handles leads. If you browse internet, you will find what I am talking about.

You should check and see if they are even able to get an IDX feed in your local market. I've been looking for an IDX feed myself and most Canadian MLS boards are keeping control of the data (smartly) and not allowing these IDX feeds.

@realwebs Thanks for the insight.

@Kjmendy they only service Toronto and Vancouver at this point.

to my knowledge, IDXBroker has limited coverage in Canada. I prefer using this over other IDX platforms mainly because of its customizability. Only drawback is the basic package looks dated, you have to purchase the Platinum version to get the slicker templates.

You can also get a datafeed directly from CREA. If you use a specialized real estate website provider, they should be an official tech provider with CREA and be able to integrate the listing datafeed you want.
