I have house that is currently being rented and I want to put it on the market for sale. The rental is currently being managed by a property management company but it appears they also are real estate agents as well.

Am I obligated to use this property management company/agent to sell the property? Would it be unethical to look for and enlist another agent to do so? How would showing of home work if another agent is involved in the sale? Looking for some advice.

Tony -- your property management contract would be the place to start. Read it to see if you are obligated to list with them. If that is the case, check with a lawyer to see if that is legal in the state where the rental is located. Once you know that, you will have most of your questions answered.
