If this question is inappropriate here please let me know, but this is a real-time question that I am actively struggling with right now. The question is, which company should I chose out of Keller Williams and Weichert?

Background: I have interviewed more than ten brokers in an area I am about to move to. I am a brand new agent with a focus on desiring education and a focus on business creation above all other aspects. I have narrowed my search down to two specific brokers/offices. Each of their recruiting people do a great job selling their offices and I believe I could be a good fit at either one, at least based on everything I am conscious of right now.

So the only way I can think to differentiate is based on the company choice. One is a Keller Williams office. One is a Weichert. I need to figure out how to pick between these two companies. Is there anyone willing to provide specific reasons why they would recommend one over the other? Advocates for each would be excellent so I could compare what kinds of things agents for each are thinking about.

All responses extremely appreciated!!

At the end of the day, you have to go with your gut, and if it's as close as you're making it sound, I'd base my decision upon which group of people I liked most as you'll be around them a ton!

On a side note, I passed on KW in my area (Columbus, OH) and am happy with my decision. I felt like they promised too much they couldn't fulfill and were happy with quantity over quality as to pay for their massive overhead in monthly desk fees.

I'm with eXp Realty but don't necessarily think they'd be the best fit for a newer agent, maybe if you're super motivated, but own the line definitely check them out as they're basically a better version of KW. As for now, get on a team you fully believe want to develop you into a great agent!

Not sure if this will help for you, but I posted a question regarding KW and a local non-franchise. my KW is 1/5 the size, but they are the only one that says they will stop taking money from you when you paid so much. for anyone thinking about places to go my concern is will I make more money by doing open houses for agents that don't want to do them.
