Started a new job and I'm already getting the stink eye from a few of the agents in the office.

BTW my broker is awesome and a very successful woman with multiple offices including commercial sales. Lucky for me she is really into me, not like that, but sees my potential for success within her organization.

Almost every agent she introduces me to I'm getting this oh crap more competition in the office look. This is all coming from the women agents.

Personally I could care less, there are only a couple people I care about liking me, the broker I already have that one in the bag and the number one agent in the firm. That agent makes consistently over 1 million a year in commissions. I want to learn from the best and she's the best in the company. There are a couple key people that I want to get to know but as far as the office drama how do you guys deal with these situations.

I've employed women for over 29 years in my own business so I know all the games being played. The RE business on the other hand you need to have good relationships within your office.

What could they possibly be jealous of . . . . you haven't produced any commission income yet !

It just may be that they've seen a lot of others come and go and can't rightly get too enthusiastic until they see what you might be able to produce.

Get some Sales under your belt and they may warm up to you . . . . that's always been the fair and objective measurement of a newcomer.

Typical sales enviorment. It's going to happen anywhere you go. Ignore the noise and just focus on yourself. Once you get the ball rolling and deals come in left and right, always remember, your ego is not your amigo. Stay humble, focused and ignore the negativity around you. Good luck!!
