My suggestion is getting online. You're looking for info online right now, so are your prospective customers. With online ads you can achieve branding and engage prospects to get a measurable response.

Here are a few places you can advertise online, in no particular order.

Kijiji - it's one of the most visited sites in Canada by people who are looking to buy or sell. You can target just the city and category you're focused on. It's starting to get a bit expensive, but you have a lot of margin to work with. The cost varies by market & by category. One work around is to buy Google display ads and target them to appear on Kijiji. You'll get a lower CPM than buying the ads direct from Kijiji.

Ovlix - is an international real estate listing portal. It has a clean, user friendly design, and gets a lot of search engine traffic. Not sure of costs. You can buy Google ads to target here as well.

Point2Homes - is also an international real estate listing portal with lots of search engine traffic. To get ads included in your membership is about $50 per month to start with. It goes up from there.

Social Media - all the big social media platforms offer advertising now and it's quite affordable for the amount of exposure. It's easy for people to respond and engage. Some agents tell me this is the way of the future.

Search Engines - as mentioned above, you can buy display ads through Google, Bing, & Yahoo. These are displayed on publisher sites they serve ads for.

Snap Up Real Estate - is a Canadian listing portal with the ability for agents to sync their listings automatically through CREA. Feature listing spots and feature agent spots on city pages start at $20 per month.

Hope that helps. :)

In this day and age Brand is also your website. As a realtor if you do not have one you are really limiting your Brand! All the above sites that Snap UP chatted about is great but where are you sending your potential clients/neighbours/Customers. How will you display your brand to them if you do not have a link to follow?

Have fun creating your Brand smile

Google Custom Forum Search

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
