Hello and thank you for creating/participating in this forum!

I'm a business co-owner who has had a very frustrating experience with a bad commercial real estate brokerage team. We will be expanding to more local commercial spaces in the coming years, and I am now inspired to learn the profession myself so that other start-up owners don't have to go nearly out of business due to the screw-ups of their agents and broker.

Yes, I know it would be easier to just find a better team, but just like most business owners, I like to have a working knowledge of how these processes work... or are supposed to work, anyways.

Can you recommend a good place to get started in this venture? Are there good online courses or in-person seminars that you'd recommend?

Thank you,
Walter

Some of your local Colleges and Universities may offer Seminars or Coursework (individual classes) which could help you gain a clear and objective understanding of the overall circumstances of your problem.

Maybe just visiting the Business Library that the College's Real Estate Department recommends would be helpful in gaining that understanding.
