Hi everyone! The past six years my career was booming and suddenly I felled off the horse. All me deals has gone wrong or buyers lied to me. I know the steps and procedure to do when you get a buyer. I don't show any properties unless they are approved by a lender. I know all this stuff. Right now, I sit in front of my computer and not motivated to do anything. Anyone has experience this? What did you do to get back on the horse? I feel down and not motivated. Please any one give me advice.

Steve The Guy...

id look at it like this...unless you are independently wealthy without the need to generate income to sustain your lifestyle

(a great measure of wealth is how long you could maintain your lifestyle if you generated not 1 more days worth of work for pay and had to live off of what you have, do that and you get a time...1 month...1 year...10 years...100 years?)

if you need income to work on generating wealth then you need to work because if you dont you will need to sell your own house and that is not very fun.

"The antidote to worry is action."

Remembering this quote always helps me. When you feel like you don't want to, or can't do anything. Just get started on even the smallest task. The smallest step towards your simplest goal.

Once you engage in some action it is much easier to change your mindset.

A couple of years ago a long time broker I know said he was retiring, 1. because he could, and 2. because he was sick of so many deals not closing. He no longer enjoyed the business because so many deals failed during the process.

I have too many years left to do that. I am constantly studying what I need to do to not get like that. If the deal get complicated, then just do what it takes to smooth it out. I constantly remind my buyers and sellers that it doesn't have to be stressful. Just roll with it and lets get this done.
