Video marketing is the major part of marketing cycle now-a-days. Like make proper and professional property tour videos is very effective. Keeping your audience in mind you can make videos by adding all the necessary information will help you to catch more leads and sales.

You also can generate social media engagement and awareness through sharing it on different social media platforms.

I agree. You need great photos for your listings. But what about the new 3-D environment? The ones you can walk thought and control your viewing direction. I forget whats its called. They have both video and photo 3D viewing. Its amazing!

There are multiple companies that stitch photos together to give the 3D affect. The company we use,, uses They're a pretty established company and they're even working with google to get their coding on the same page. It's awesome. We're starting to invest heavily in video marketing, no one is going to want to ready anything in 5-10 years. There was a study conducted by NAR/Google in 2013 that said 70% of RE video traffic is used to tour the inside of the home and 83 or 86% used it to find out more about the community. With numbers like that, it's hard not to justify a video budget. IMO

We are in Southern California, and use in Anaheim. They use the matterport camera and HDR photography for only $199. Nothing beats professional photos and the Matterport Dollhouse view is a great tool to use on a listing presentation.

Video is great on platforms like Facebook! Keep it short, entertaining, and showcase the interesting parts of the property. We have had to remind agents and our own staff 1 important thing: THESE ARE NOT VIDEO SHOWINGS. We work to keep them 90 seconds or less. Plays really well on social.

Oh really...

I've seen video marketing that works great on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and even Instagram.

Getting a drone camera and slider for inside shots. Put these clips together and you got a very engaging video.

Photography is great and all, but video is almost like a 3D visual of a client being there visiting the property itself.

I think! Video promotion is not a great way. People don't watch videos of real estate promotions, they generally want to read some blogs and want to see photos of homes.

Video also works really well for retail and industrial real estate especially now with all the cool drones coming out that take high resolution videos. They give potential clients a whole picture of the surrounding areas and how the building looks from the outside.

As I mentioned on another post, including video in emails increases click through rates by 200-300%. Make that video a personalised video and the click through rates increase by 500% or more.

Video is powerful in that engages more of the senses, allowing the viewer to create an emotional connection with what they're watching. While price is always the bottom line, emotion plays a huge role in real estate purchases.

Using quality video in marketing and email campaigns is a no brainer.
