Has anyone tried it or had success with it?

Automated emails? Cold emails? Etc.

Definitely do it, as long as you have something to say.

Does your MLS have an automated system where you could setup your buyers so they can get houses that meet their criteria right to their email? You can also set them up so you get them, then it gives you a reason to call.

Set a series of emails for your contact lists and forget it functionality, for your email. When you add new contacts to your automated list, they’ll start receiving a scheduled series of emails. Your audience stays engaged, and ready to take action.

If you want to scale your follow up and rapport building efforts, email is an amazing tool. I'd suggest setting up a drip campaign which is a series of pre-written emails that are sent out in series after a prospect has given you their email address. Use services like,, or to build a landing page that'll allow you to capture emails. The email model I've been using for my drip campaign is the know, like, trust, challenge, convert model. It's a 5-day sequence that'll really set you apart from your competition. I can find a way to attach the template I use if it'd help?

I had a Freelance gig where I composed drip emails for my real estate clients; targeting the age group of their market. One important thing I learned with email marketing is be focused. Have a conception of the buyer persona you're looking for and compose a message he/she will find attractive. Email marketing is by far the best and most efficient from experience

When I try cold emails, I try to provide something of value, like an interesting article, a report, etc. before trying to make a sale. I found that prospects are more open to engaging with you when they know you understand their issue or need.

A drip email series linkedin with landing pages is the way to go. It helps to build authority and trust in the mind of your audience. Adding video to your emails, or even better, personalised video (where the person's name, and if applicable, their location) , to the video will help in open and engagement rates.

According to Vidyard / the Aberdeen Group, adding video to an email increases click through rates by 200-300%.

Adding *personalised" video to an email increases click through rates by **500%** or more.
