Just started a boutique commercial brokerage firm in SoCal. I trying to build a niche healthcare real-estate brokerage practice. I know tons of MD's, DMD in SoCal looking for commercial office space so I'm trying to capitalize off of this. Posted few listings on Loopnet.com and www.clineeds.com (new website, great listing site, its free, focused on healthcare only so can network with other docs).

I guess I'm a newbie, but hows healthcare real-estate in general? I'm not seeing much traction. Could be a time of year? New grads come in June..

Why not represent all of your medical friends as a Buyer Broker or as a Lessee's Agent, and show them everything on the market which can be easily converted into a medical facility . . . . instead of focusing on space which is already being used as such ?

That's some great advice! Definitely will be heading down that route, just need to gain traction.

The idea is to become as inclusive as possible (buyers and sellers). I've had some great traction by posting on classified pages of medical and dental societies in Cali, but very expensive.

Clineeds somehow loops into these classified pages also, which is VERY helpful (because then I don't have to pay for the classified listings!!)
