We were using Top Producer hosting since they supplied templates and made it easy to change.

I have several sites, and I use GoDaddy for some of them, and a different hosting company for some others, I like to spread my exposure out so that I don't have all of my eggs in one basket.

I've got 9 sites for real estate and 3 extra stealth sites with probably around 80 domain names pointing various places. I use to use godaddy, but switched over to a company called hostyoo, for better service. I now have 2 servers with them. Well worth not having to deal with godaddy.

Not a realtor, but as a web designer I can say that GoDaddy is not really a good service. They have mediocre hosting speeds, bad support services and loads of hidden fees for certain services.

From a pure ease-of-use and performance perspective, I would highly recommend SiteGround :)

Also not a realtor, but do build websites for SEO and content marketing for clients regularly. I won't even touch the website of a potential client if they are using GoDaddy anymore. Just too many problems.

SiteGround is a really good hosting provider, but I use A2 Hosting and I've been thrilled with everything about them. I think the longest I've ever waited for support is about 5 minutes.

I use Godaddy to register domains but not for hosting.

Godaddy is best for web-hosting and domain name. I have three sites and I always take help from GoDaddy.

I'm a professional web designer and host over 300 sites. The truth about shared hosting (all of them, Godaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator) is they all operate in an identical manner - meaning all of them are fine so long as your site is built properly (which is key for loading times) but all of these services will perform poorly with a lot of site traffic.

Bandwidth is automatically allocated and there's no free lunch. If your site starts to gobble up resources, it'll be punished with slower loading times.

The one thing I like about Godaddy is that they have email options. Others had limits on the amount of email you can have on the server. Now Godaddy changed their plans and the basic email upgrade cost over $95 per year.

We give services to the real estate industry and use godaddy, nothing but good things to say - well does exactly what it says on the tin kinda thing.

GoDaddy is ok for some niches and is bad for other niches, but overall you can rank a website with much more worse hosting companies if you know how to actually rank on google. There are a lot of websites out there that are ranking on google and they use shared hosting and their loading time is very very slow but the onpage seo is done great and there are a lot of high quality links pointing to them. So in my opinion there a lot of more important factors than just hosting.

If you are using wordpress, I would highly recommend a2hosting as they have some specific setups that have kept our website operating at terrific speeds. They also will setup the hosting for you and install their optimized plugins to ensure your website is performing the fastest speed possible. Fast speeds = happy visitors.

Another vote for godaddy here as well. Integrates well with wordpress. I would suggest taking the option to host on Linux servers, you wont see any difference when you use wordpress but Linux seems host sites better.

I don't recommend them for web hosting. They are a large organization which is a plus. But the costs are higher and the support is usually worse than a company who just focuses on hosting alone.

I have been in the hosting business for many years.

Avoid GoDaddy for everything, from hosting to domains to ssl.

I am not up on hosting companies, but we use DynaDot and various colocation facilities.

There are a lot of hosting solutions that are better than GoDaddy.

If you're looking for something to simply host your website, then check out DreamHost (easy shared hosting) or Digital Ocean (more experienced users).

If you want something that helps you build a website and host it, SquareSpace and Weebly are probably the best.

I agree Go-daddy is a great service and inexpensive.
