New to real estate and the area. Been doing a few mailers and have had one closing bc of them. I reached out to our local candy store here in the Colorado mountains and the guy makes taffy but sells all sorts of candy and chocolate. He will be providing a free amount of candy if the client shows the mailer and I will include a small coupon for it.

Now I am trying to come up with some slogans for the mailer. I like to keep them the EDDM size that allows for me to put a stamp on for those outside my farming area. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Some examples,
Avoid the “tricks” and find the “treats” of real estate.
Don’t let your friends or family have a “scary” real estate experience!

I like "Avoid the 'Tricks' and find the 'Treats' of Real Estate."

Keeping the EDDM size, wouldn't it cost a lot more to put a stamp on them than a normal 4 x 6 card?? I heard the EDDM postcards I send out (8.5" x 11") would be around 90 cents to mail outside of EDDM.

Some that come to mind are as follows:
You will have a bootiful experience with me as your Realtor.

If your candy maker makes anything that looks like gold coins you can use a money in the bank slogan like "Let me help you put money in your bank by selling your home ..."

Don't let this card get "buried" with the rest since you will be missing out on the best.

Question for you David, where do you buy your 8.5 x 11 paper stock from? Is it of decent quality? Do you have them printed with someone or print it yourself?

OfficeMax.com. We order the Fireworx 90 lb. Index, Dynamite White paper (Item #235249 incase you want to look it up). It meets EDDM requirements. It isn't the thickest paper or greatest quality (it won't be having a good day if it gets wet).

We print them ourselves on the office color laser printer (uses some kind of wax bars... not ink, so it looks and feels good).

If you have them printed with a printer it's going to cost ya. They'll try to sell you the glossy look, UV protection stuff, but you don't have to buy into it. The message is more important than the paper it's printed on.

Our main farm area consists of houses between $300,000-$800,000 (average around $500,000-$600,000) and never had a problem with the cheap paper.
