Does anyone have a good tool to use to mass-submit a blog post to social bookmarking sites? If not, what method do you use or do you not submit to them at all?

I used awhile ago ... not sure if they are still in business. I discounted the practice as i found that it was of no value.

I tried Onlywire but it did not lead to good traffic. Too high bounce rate. I am sure there are some blackhat tools that might build 1000s of links a day via social bookmarking sites. Not sure I would recommend doing that. If you have quality content and make sure that there is a quick & easy way for people to share it to FB, twitter, etc---they will share it.

I agree with you Mark; Blackhat tools is not the best way to go
i think you can also get the help of some virtual assistants who can help you distribute the blogs to the different bookmarking sites on a daily basis and the links will look natural.

It is still best to use manual submission for social bookmarking and keep it as natural as possible.

I also think that manual submission is good for social bookmarking. If you don't have time then you can hire a freelancer as they are best to do this job.

Bookmarking Daemon is the best tool to do social bookmarking in a bulk quantity. It also has schedule option by which you can set up schedules and it automatically follow them and do social bookmarking for your websites.

True that all submissions must appear as natural as possible.Besides you need to only submit to bookmarking sites that are relevant to your field.

I have tried onlywire and found it pretty useful for bulk submissions. It has some monthly fees but it you can still take your free trial.

Has anyone else tried the Meshfire beta for this? I have a good friend from college working on developing it with google, and it is supposed to be 'the definitive social media marketing tool', but I haven't had time to try it for myself...

When I need to submit to Social Bookmarking sites I use Social Monkee. I believe its only $7 bucks for a lifetime account, and it does the job perfectly.

If you do get a social bookmarking software (be careful with the one you choose here) you have to make sure to vary your anchor text links coming back to your site.

According to the new Google rules, you need three types of links:

a) actual keyword (with variations of it)
c) links that say "click here" or "visit this site now"

You now need three of these with all of your links.

Hope that helps.

You don't want to mass submit anything. Google does not like duplicate content. You need to do things naturally over time. That's the best way.

Google Custom Forum Search

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
