The old Reciprocal Link Exchange Forum has been converted into this Link Building Strategies Forum and placed where it belongs - in the Successful Realtor Practices area. The number and quality of links is still the top ranking factor used by Google especially for ranking the competitive commercial keywords we all strive to place well for.

In order for Realtors to enjoy success with their internet presence, knowledge of what makes a good link and where to get them should be right up there on the to do list.

Let's use this forum to help each other get good links!

There are different strategies like submitting articles, social bookmark, blogging, forum posting, and posting classified ads. Important factor is that your submission content must be good!

I think that link building must be done with sites that have a PR3 or higher to be successful. Why post to sites with lower PR, you are only helping their position.

Yeah I am always looking for other realtors to trade links with. I have two sites and both are moving up in PR. It helps to have a good link exchange system with others.

Are you talking about link building or link exchanges? Because those are two vastly different things.

I still think Link building with forum signatures can be a viable option if you’re heavily involved within the community, and the forum is related to your niche.

From everything I have heard reciprocal links are not the way to go. You find good authority sites to get your links put onto. It makes sense why google wouldn't want to give a lot of credit to reciprocal link building.

In my opinion the best way to build links to your website is to guest post on other high quality relevant websites. Not only will you get quality links back to your website, but your posts will show up when people Google you and will help you look like more of a legitimate expert in your market.

Social media, content marketing and brand awareness are equally important to get people to link to your content naturally because of the value they get from your site.

Google Custom Forum Search

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
