When shopping for E&O rates. We keep running into the same question... what business category are you? For lack of understanding of our industry many insurance brokers try to classify us either... as real estate brokers or licensed contractors, which is not the case. How are you describing your property preservation companies and making sure you get coverage for your sub-contractors? ie.. handyman, yardmen, etc... Property preservation company seems to mean nothing to most insurance brokers.
