I hope everyone did as well! With our real estate markets down I'm sure across the country, it is interesting to see others are doing during this time to keep things moving.

I wanted to send out a quick note to the other agents on here to find out what they are having success with in this market?

Our team here in Minnesota has done alot of REO and short sales. Both list and buying side. And with so many homes for sale on the MLS, we are finding the majority of our business has been buyers here in 2008.

Well, "Happy December!" to you guys!

Real estate was virtually dead during Thanksgiving week and weekend, which is different than past years. At least in the past, we had people calling and looking since the kids were out of school for the long weekend and not everyone wanted to be at the mall. I think we had one call to the 24-hr hotline all weekend and I couldn't get them to answer the phone when I called them back.

But, real estate has been the slowest here this year that it has been in the past 40 yrs. That's according to a couple of brokers who have been around that long. Our broker is predicting 2009 will be worse. So, who knows.
