I am currently signed up with several Fannie / Freddie out sourcers however It just came to my attention that one of my local Agents is getting listings directly from them. Anyone else on the board getting direct from the them?
Also FDIC also is giving out direct listings anyone working with them. I have found the link but want to see what the your experiences have been working direct.
Thanks, Orlrealtor

They do give out listings directly, unfortunately I do not have the accounts. Fannie mae has been closed for a really long time. If I remember correctly, I saw they were closed back in 2003-2004 when i was applying to most of my current clients. Freddie mac only works with broker owners, am not sure if it is possible to get in with them.

Earlier this year Homesteps BPODirect was discontinued and BPOs outsourced to several third party BPO companies; however, the listings still come direct from Homesteps from personal listing experience. I cannnot tell you today from my personal experience what Fannie Mae is now doing now.

An agent in my local area just got signed up with Freddie Direct and received 30 listings. (fact). I cannot allow that train to go by without me on it. I will be researching and getting in that door. If anyone has info or wants me to let you know what I find out (pm) me.

Fannie Mae intents to use 3 methods to sell properties. Auction a small portion, outsource a portion and continue direct with a portion of their portfolio. That's the word at their conference last month. I'm still receiving direct, outsourced and auctioned. If my memory is correct it's about 40% direct, 40% outsourced and 10% auction. They're adding agents if an area volumne warrants it.

based on what I've heard, Homesteps only gives listings to the largest sales volume brokerages in a particular market. Is this true?

based on what I've heard, Homesteps only gives listings to the largest sales volume brokerages in a particular market. Is this true? What I see in my particular market is HomeSteps going to the national franchisees and not to the local shops. And in this boutique market, the national franchises don't really have the largest sales volume. Just my local experience. Every market is different.
