As for the Los Angeles market, they are worthless. I paid the $400 initial fee and paid the monthly $27 fee for about nine months. I cancelled them about two months ago and they are still charging my credit card.
They might be ok for some other part of the country but not in L.A. I was one of the first in the L.A. area to join and they gave the spiel "oh we are limited the number of agents in each territory. Then three or four months into, I see the names of other reo brokers who have way more listings than me. I still stayed with them.
I have not gotten one bpo, one phone call, or one listing from UnitedReo, I tell anybody who will listen that they did not work for me.
