Hey AppraiserChick: I know we had a little fun with this topic the other day; but I was SERIOUS about making contact with the local Police - get the Blank Incident Report Form and at least put the Police on notice about what is happening. That's what they are there for ! Making this "Person" aware that you have initiated this contact will certainly stop his harassment of your Colleague AND maybe a little bit more. The Police will then be prepared if anything more were to result from this matter. I doubt that you'll have any further difficulty.

How could the locksmith have taken the tapes as was there not an agent with him when He rekeyed and inventoried those items that appeard to be of value worth more than $50?

Here in Texas if the house is still occupied with personal possessions I have the sheriff's deputy meet me at the house at the rekey time and he goes through and checks out what is in the house.

All the time when there are items still in the house, I never enter a house without my assistant with me so that we can be a witness to each other that nothing was ripped off.

BTW, I did catch a locksmith with six near new truck tires, a large BBQ pit, and a probably $500 worth of handtools after he went back to one of my houses the day after he rekeyed it.

Hilarious situation. Goodness, $700 worth of porn?? Hmmm, if (and I said IF) I paid $700 for adult videos I would have probably grabbed those first since they are such a value. Besides I would be horrified to have a stranger find such a collection....

This is a bit suspect.
