Hello,
I have what really might be a really pointless question. What do you think if (or) a real estate agent (I'm talking about men here) has long hair? Like to about the shoulders, and it would be kept clean, nice looking. Do you think that would make a agent look trashy, less professional?
What about long hair while wearing like a suit?
Any feedback would be great, thank you!!!!

I would think of that person as less professional. I don't care for long hair on men, so I would most likely be inclined to go with an agent with a more traditonal look.
I think professionals, both men and women, should be clean cut, well kempt, and nicely dressed.
Just my opinion of course.

No No. I'm not going to become a hippy (although they Are always happy)
I just had a weird dream and was trying to figure out what it might have meant.
Thanks for your input!

"Dreaming that you have long hair indicates that you are thinking long and carefully before making some decision. You are concentrating on some plan or situation."
Hmm, now if that's true, What's the plan or situation????!!!!
P.S. I don't think that's it (The meaning)!

I don't think the length of your hair matters. As a matter of fact, I would think you were different and not afraid to be yourself, not care what others think and not afraid to go outside of the box.
Sometimes it is the stuffy suit salesman image you have to watch out for!
But since it was just a dream...

Ben34105 I'm not fully sure what it means. Just maybe I looked really great in long hair. LoL!!!!
dluu Oh yeah, I'm a neat freak, I can't go out in public with my hair being a total mess. In fact, if I don't get a shower in the morning, that's normally enough to not want to make me go out in public overall.
sawprops This is the view I've been looking at it from. I was thinking it might set me apart from the group of other real estate agents. Normally I don't care what people think of me, but since how I look plays into everything in this business, I was really unsure.
I like the idea because it is different. and with the reading I've been doing on the subject, I think I have good hair to do it with.
I just don't know if because it's different is enough of a reason to do it.....
Has anyone had/worked with a male agent with longer hair? How do they do?

For some reason there are many high-end agents with long hair.
If this would work, I would try it, but it would have to be a wig, LOL!!

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
