are there respa regs in canada? can a mortgage company pay a kickback to brokers for sending them referrals? just heard of a company doing this and didn't think it was o.k..... any canadian agents here?

It can vary by province.

In Ontario, a realtor can receive moneys, gifts, discounts etc. from anyone as long as any gains they enjoy are fully disclosed in writing to the people who effect such a gain.

Most are more subtle than a cash kick back – but if it walks like a duck !!
