Well I think the biggest problem will be advertising medium used.
I did an Investor seminar and advertised in The Home Buyers Journal.
60,000 copies and got 1 call. That is right 1 call.
My ad was very good (see the link bellow) according to 10 people I showed it to (brokers, RE agents, people on this board).
http://www.realestatecenteronline.com/2_mistakes.pdf The problem was that I think no one is reading that magazine for Investor Seminars.
Three was another agent running an ad for an Investment seminar in the entire magazine.
I think people read this magazine to find listings.
An ad in the Washington Post was much more effective (and it was a lot smaller).
Before you go into great detail start running your ads. See what publication or ad gets the most response. If they are held bi-monthly people can call anytime and you can always schedule them for he next one if the demand is so great. You can aovid booking a room, investing time, if the demand is not there.
I spent $600 to learn this important lesson. First see if there is a demand then offer product.
Don’t take my post as statement that the seminars don’t work. They do in certain areas and by advertising in the right places.
