I've had amazing success with these shows. They've helped differentiate me, saved some commission and helped get a listing. (Been using them almost a month now) www.realestateshows.com Some of my shows so far are http://www.realestateshows.com/show/inventory.php?userid=6047&showid=33673 The cost is very reasonable $125/ year. I was so taken by it I negotiated a bit of a discount for subscribers to my newsletter $99/year. Thoughts or ideas from anyone using would be appreciated.

This is "awesome". I can see this being used for any type marketing, not only Real Estate but for all types of businesses in gerneral. This is a must have! This also sounds like a commercial......but it's not!

Dave,
we've put together some team pieces, we've created closing gifts with it we've added to our website for virtual tours we've added it to our listing presentations.
My guess will catch on so implementing it now and getting the jump people will be critical.
Also, like anything the more users they get the more toys they'll add.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Sheldon, this is incredible. I almost teared up watching my own first production/commercial (ha, ha). I can hardly wait to get our client's reaction. I linked to our MLS. This is sooooo much superior to any 'virtual tour' others are using, it's in another league by itself. It offers a real "emotional impact". I don't want anyone else in my market using it.... ha, ha! You are right, get the jump on the competition because this is the right direction. Link to my first commercial: http://www.realestateshows.com/37098 The buttons for location/map, schools, mortgage calculator, forwarding, etc. are superb tools as well!

I got an excellent idea from another agent last night. When he gets a call for a listing he is going to send a prelisting video about his services.

I signed up last night and went to do a show for a listing. I couldn't find the photos for the listing. Then I realized ALL my photos are gone! My "My Pictures" file was completely gone from my desktop. I searched my entire hard drive for pictures, and they had vanished. So I restored my system to the prior day. My picture folders all came back- but they are empty- no photos! 3 years worth of my kids and everything- not backed up, not printed out. I didn't know it had anything to do with the real estate shows, but I got an e-mail from them with the subject "Something Happened to My Photos!". Did anyone else loose there photos- and did anyone find them?????????????

Wow Carla. That's awful! There are ways of retrieving lost data although I don't know how and it's not always successful. I don't think it had anything to do with the real estate shows. I've had no problems whatsoever.
Sheldon, my head is spinning with ideas for using this tool including prelisting as you mentioned. In the forums on the site there are several good suggestions and an article on how to stage the home for better pictures, etc. Good stuff.

Carla,
It had nothing to do with real estate shows. The email they sent something happened to my phots was a st. patricks day joke. If you click the link it shows all the pictures as green. Quite funny actually. The joke. Not what happened to your pictures. As for your pictures they can be retrieved. go to a professional, don't do it yourself they should be able to retrieve your pics.
Tim and Susan,
I'm glad someone else is as excited as me. I can't get over the cost. Finally I'm getting a good deal on something.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Thanks so much Sheldon. As a new (and struggling) agent this will definitely put me over the top in my market. I don't have a listing yet, but I am signing up immediately. I still have to figure out (since I don't have a listing yet) exactly how to put it on MLS and my website, but it will be figurered out! I love this forum and I thank you all for sharing!

No problem. Do a pre listing presentation. Maybe a show about things you'll discuss with the client at the listing appointment.
Do a personal brochure. Good luck and pour your enthusiasm into it.

I like the realestate show.. but I think the .PDF presentation shows more of a picture and gives the viewer more details of the home. Here are examples:

We use pdf's for brochures but you can't add music to them. And the effects of the zooming. Are you serious though. Your pictures are grainy. There is no experience for the buyer. My standard virtual tour that I upload through Point 2 agent gives me better visual than a grainy pdf...Anyways if you're happy with it thats what counts but they're not comparable. My virtual tour to yours is comparable. ANd I'll take that over the PDF format any day. The real estate show is in addition Btw noone is going to forward that pdf on unless they are buying it.

WOW. Your lucky sellers. I guess you have to be a casino there to get your name up in lights.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
