Need calculator asap-and cheap!!

Hello...I am in the need of a Qualifier Plus II calculator. I know they sell the new version (IIIx), but I like the older version. Does anyone have one they don't need? I can get one for $45.00 through World Savings, but I have to wait another 2 weeks. Does anybody have one sooner for around that price??
Thanks!

I'm not even licensed yet and shopping for stuff I'll need. I was going to get a Palm PDA (Treo 650) with some sort of real estate calculator software for it. Is there any reason I would consider this "Qualifier Plus II calculator" instead of using the Palm?
By the way if you are interested you can get a used Palm cheap and there are lots of real estate calculators for free or cheap, and then you'd also have a Palm which is incredibly handy.

The qualifier does like mortage payments..amoritzation quotes..among other things...kinda just figures out any payment you would need figured out but it's only a calculator. Where can you get free real estate calculators??? If you only need a calculator it's nice.... Angie

Thanks for the input. Yes, the Qualifier II is just a real estate calculator, but it is very user friendly. Instead of a Palm though, I will be getting a Blackberry 7510 which can synchronize data with your LAN computer if you use Outlook. (Which I plan on using) I was going to buy Top Producer, or I should say my broker was going to give me her older version,[6i], but she said if you are beginning you should spend as much money as you can on marketing yourself the first year and use Outlook instead; since you can pretty much program it to do whatever you want and it comes with all newer computers. But there are so many new software programs and technological advances, by the time you get used to one program, it's already been superceded with another. But GOOD LUCK to all!!

A Treo will also do POP3, Internet email or Exchange server (aka "corporate email" aka "LAN"). It can synchronize or download live and in real time.
A Blackberry was cool a few years ago but the Treo is superior now for mail and other applications, but if you like the Blackberry and many people do then that's your choice. It is smaller then the Treo which is nice, but the Treo just does so much more it's not even a close race. It's just a question of what devices you want to carry for which purpose, but don't be misled and believe the little berry can outperform the mighty Treo in email or PIM since it cannot. That said everybody I know with a berry *loves* it.
By the way "Outlook Express" comes free with Windows computers but "Outlook" is part of Microsoft Office productivity suite software and is not free. Outlook is the one you want since it has the detailed contact managment and calendar, Outlook Express does not. You might be in for a $100 surprise if you expect Outlook to come free with a computer.

Outlook is a program from Microsoft that keeps a calendar, a to-do list, a pretty detailed database of contacts, manages your email and more. It's not so much that it's great at what it does, but it works pretty well an dintegrates with other Microsoft software well. Outlook is typically bundled with their "Office" suite of software along with spreadsheet and word processing software.
Outlok Express is the free version and is not nearly as powerful.
There's a free non-Microsoft version of all of this called Open Office by the way. Not the same but very close.

I had a look and Open Office has all the Microsoft office stuff except Outlook. Sorry. Great package, but no email or PIM.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
