First of all, Hi...I'm thrilled to have found this forum. It's nice to have somewhere besides the office to go for feedback and brainstorming.

My question is about past client marketing. It's recently occurred to me, since I've had no sales for 2 mos, that I may have missed the boat in this area. What techniques do you employ to keep in touch with past clients.

I feel that keeping in contact with past clients is essiential to your business. Satisfied past client referrals are the best. I use an automated postcard mailing each month and I also make birthday phone calls.

Many agents set up reminders in Top Producer or another calendar program as well. Some reminders include emails, postcards, birthday cards, home buying annivesary letters, phone calls, lunches, etc.

Most email and postcard campaigns can be automatically generated.

Agree with Dee... I also use Top Producer and have several marketing programs set up to automatically keep me in contact with clients... mailing letters, post cards, e-mails, newsletters, and phone calls.

I receive about half my traditional real estate business from former client or their referrals. For my investment/ Creative Real Estate Investment clients it is almost 80%.

If your not marketing to former clients your walking away from a major source of leads and future business. I am into the 2nd generation on some families.

You Must have a good Contact Management Program to preform these tasks effectively.
