Hi,

Would it be possible to start a new section on the real estate internet directories and maybe website reviews?

Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to create an "International" option in the directory as well.

Thanks...

i have something to comment on. i noticed that the url doesnt change with the various pages. why is that? when i want to show a specific page to my partner, i cant cause all it says is www.agentsonline.net.

the only way around this was to click on email this link and copy the url but that takes too long.

any suggestions?

justicewhite - we are not adding any new forums for the time being. Discussions about website directories and requests to review a website could be posted in "'Net Success" or "Real Estate Webmaster Issues" - whichever seems appropriate for the content of the post.

M Team - The url doesn't change because it was necessary to do it that way for search engine reasons as the actual url is a cgi program which search engines do not list. This allows us to be number 1 for "Search Engine Forums" \:\)

You can use your right mouse button menu to obtain the actual url of a forum topic or you can avoid the issue altogether by simply using http://www.agentsonline.net/cgi-bin/bbs/ultimatebb.cgi as your entry page to access the forums.

Hi. I am a new member and a prelicensing real estate student. I have noticed several places where there are student/mentoring type questions. Is it possible to have a section for students?

PS. I have become obsessed with your forum. I now use it as incentive for completing test and/or chapters. Like, if I complete this task...I will allow myself to swim with you guys for awhile.

Ms Long Beach,

I'm glad to see you are learning from other agents' real life experience before you are licensed. There is a lot to learn but remember, experience is the best teacher. When you are ready, don't be afraid to try something new and keep at it until you succeed.

Your comments about marketing RailRoad properties are very interesting. Can you tell us more?

MS Long Beach, I am glad you are finding the forum helpful \:\)

As for a separate forum for students - It is something I had not thought of and am a little unsure if it would be used much. I would think you would be better off asking your questions in the Brokers and Agents forum as more Realtors would actually see the questions and respond.

If others out there think there is a demand for a new forum for students let me know please.

LuvDuv, sorry but there is not a spell check currently. There is one available but it has some issues which would probably prove worse than not having a spell check.

Thank you, Doug. I understand where you are coming from. I find interesting student and rookie questions througout the board. I try to make sure that I am not asking a question that has already been asked. The participation on this board is awesome.
