So, where do you draw the line?

I am curious to know what agents think about normal or good operating condition regarding things like plumbing and electrical systems.

Are drippy faucets and nonworking outlets considered good?

Thanks!

Well, I'm no longer an agent but I might be able to help. Sorry it has taken so long for a response.

If it is dripping it needs to be repaired. If it is leaking it needs to be repaired. As for electrical, always think safety. Electrical is a biggie. Non-working outlets need to be repaired. They were working at one time and there is a reason that they are not working now. It could be that the conductor (wire) has come loose at the outlet. Well this is a simple repair, but if it is not done it could arc in the wall and burn the house down. It could be a bad breaker, etc.

Keep in mind that sellers will turn into buyers and they will want a home in good condition as well.
