I would like to thank you Russel Ray for taking the time to offer me your professional expertise and guidance no matter how ectic your schedule was. As a buyer, I am finding myself trapped in a very one-sided transaction where getting answers seem nearly impossible. Our own inspectors wouldn't help us at all and decided to walk away from inspecting the property without even telling us exactly what they thought might be wrong with it. As a buyer who's currently in escrow, you can imagine how stressful my situation is. Russel Ray offered to help and I took him up on his offer. Not only was he right there to answer my questions like he said he would be, but he reviewed all the documents I obtained from the department of building and safety and broke everything down for me when my own inspectors wouldn't even look at them. He pointed out areas of concerns we should invetigate, what information needed clarification, told us who to call to get confirmation, explained in simple terms what all the technical jargon appearing on the documents meant and called several times to follow up with me and emailed me back everytime.

Thanks to him, I have a clear understanding of what the issues are and have the los angeles city inspectors looking into the situation at hand. Without Russel Ray's knowledge and genuine willingness to help us, I wouldn't have known where to go to get the name and contact information of the people holding the information we need to make the most informed decision in regards to our purchase...no matter how many lies and misleading information the developper's agent gave us.

Russel Ray, although we are not out of the dark yet, thanks to you we are closer to obtain the information to either provide us with the peace of mind that we need or enable us to walk away from this purchase and hopefully get our deposit back no matter what they say.

I also want to thank you for referring Jeff Pope, a home inspector working our area, he also emailed me back right away upon contacting him and said he would be happy to inspect the property for us. I will be calling him to inspect this property or need be, the next one we find.

Thank you so much for everything you've done, it says a lot about your character, your professionalism, and level of integrity. There are those who only help when there's something to gain and those who help just because they know they are needed. I know who I want to refer my friends and family to, those who were there when we had noone else to turn to. That includes Ellen K. at the Coldwell Banker Woodland Hills' office who did the exact same thing.
