Have you thought of placing your web site link in others signatures on other forums they post on that have nothing to do with the real estate industy?

For example, I post on a lot of bass fishing forums.

Why not visit a few by doing a search on the big three for those words exactly. Then visit the site, read the forums and find a couple of anglers that have a high post count and contact them to see how much they would charge to add your web site link to their signature.

If you find one angler that has 5,000 posts you now have your web site link added to every one of those 5000 posts INSTANTLY. That's a lot of links.

You'll have to become a member of the site and more than likely you'll have to pay the person to add your web site to his signature.

You can check this out on other types of forums - I just happen to have experice in the fishing world.

Scott, forum sig links have been significantly devalued in Google for some time though they still seem to hold some weight in MSN and to a lesser extent Yahoo.

Understood. But the post was made to let realtors know how many times their web site could be seen by members and vitiors to the site if their web site link was added to one indiviuals signature.

If a site has 1000 unique visitors daily, that's 365,000 for the year. That's a lot of potential exposures especially if the link is plastered all over the site in numerous posts.

In my eyes it devalues the integrity and credibility of the poster who's selling out his/her signature space for commerical interests.
