I put together a new directory for Realtors around North America.

Yes, you are probably asking why would I want to submit and trade links with yet another Realtor directory?

As we all know having your site listed in a directory is another point of reference to Google and all of the other search engines. As more and more Realtors exchange their links with the directory it will rise in importance for the search engines which in turn will add credibility to your site in the search engines.

There are a lot of things that make a site rise or fall in the search engine rankings. Keyword research, size of site and structure of site are all very important and are in your control as a website or weblog builder but the one thing that will accentuate any of your work on site is the links to your site and the quality of those links. Please take a look and join this new directory.

Any chance of adding an "international" section to the directory

I second that, doesn't have to even be a section that is overly categorized, just one page for international real estate listings is better than nowhere to submit to if you are not in the U.S. or in Canada

I have added an international section. Hope to have more people visit as it will just make the directory more relevent in the eyes of all of the search engines.

With the last Google update the directory main page has a page rank of 4 in Google, if you submit your link Google should recognize it and index it within a few days.

Maybe if you'd take the "penis enlargement" ad off the Missouri page, I'd do it. I just don't think I can compete with that!!!

I wanted to leave the directory open and just rely on peoples good intentions but I guess spammers do not have good intentions.

I have gotten rid of the spam from the directory and have had to set it up to have me approve links before they are added. I will approve as soon as I recieve a request so it should still be quick and painless for you guys to get added.

Google has the directory up to a PR4 and I get a lot of scans from the search engines in my server logs so I expect that your links in the directory should do a good job to help increase your rankings in the search engines.

Having to approve them is a pain.. but definitely your best bet. Best of luck to you with your directory.
