I make my living from the internet promoting websites and in particular by getting top rankings with the search engines. I am just putting the finishing touches on a new website at http://www-real-estate.com and think that I may have something there of value to you if you are looking to increase the amount of traffic and customers to your sites.

I have set up a sitemap of the USA at our new site where visitors can click on the state of their choice when looking for a realtor to help them with their real estate needs. You can have your link added to the list of realtors, that is broken down by state to the list. This is a free service but we do ask that you provide a link back to us on your site. After spending much time looking at realtor pages throughout the internet, I see the same mistake being made over and over by realtors who put up their sites online. The biggest problem is that these sites have no other internet sites linking to them so the search engines can not find them, or if the search engines do find the site through a manual submission, the site is buried so low in their directories that no-one can find them. Search engines rank your page by what keywords they find on your page as well as how popular your site is. Your popularity is determined by not only how many links point to your page but also the content of those sites that provide you with a link.

If you have Aunt Mary's Cookie page pointing to your realtor page it really wont help you much. Having your page linked by http://www-real-estate.com on the other hand will add a great deal of credibility to your site so that when the search engine spiders find your site it will give you a much needed boost to your rankings. We will also be starting our own search engine promotions within the next couple of weeks so having your site listed with us will provide links for the search engines to follow to your site as well.

You can have the greatest realtor website online but if no-one knows how to find you what good is that? I am sure you do not have your business telephone number unlisted, so why hide your website from visitors who are looking for your services?

at my web site i can put in links however all i need to do is put in the url. is this good enough to keep me linked iwth you with out getting kicked out in 5 days. i am new at this and do not really understand fully the differece of putting a link with http:// and infor or copy and paste a link. thnks for the link!

Curious, though. You have over 177k inbound links according to AltaVista but none indicated in Google with no presence there. Just curious, on your experience with this from an educational standpoint. Any insight you can provide?

The thing that I notice about the directory is that the links are not indexable by search engines - which means agents get zero benefit from a link in the directory - at least as far as link popularity and increasi ng your search engine rankings is concerned. And that is why we all trade links, isn't it?

I dont believe Druid2002 wishes to exchange links with any of the House to Home sites.

I guess his site is much to good for exchanging. Looking at most House to Home sites they have a PR of 4 to 6 and that includes all link pages.

And I must say comes across as being very rude through emails.

It was my understanding to exchage links it must be of value for both parties and Druid2002 doesnt seem interested.
