Okay, I have a lot of questions and I think it would be better if I broke them up into several posts so here we go. (p.s. this is my first post, please be gentle!).

Kevin’s Post regarding Redirects as it affects Link popularity:

We use www.RealEstateAgentDomainName.com for our name registration and they offer free forwarding and masking. In some cases we have been using this to make it easier to identify a page, such as www.garykentseminars.com which is masked to go to http://www.garykentteam.com/GaryKentSeminars.htm. I moved it recently from: http://www.garykentteam.com/GaryKentSeminars.htm

Here is my question. What is the best/better/worst way to do this? We reference the site in Gary’s weekly e-newsletter and in print media when we are promoting a seminar but would like to promote it on its on basis also.

Does this add to the general popularity of the www.garykentteam.com site?

Is it better to have it forwarded and masked at the www.RealEstateAgentDomainName.com level or would a “301” redirect be better?
