Out Bound Links questions Best Posting Practices

As stated in another post, we are starting a campaign to link exchange links on the following 4 sites.

www.garykentteam.com a custom built site, not much content yet, most of the content we host on the next site. Although we do have html versions of Gary’s weekly e-newsletter that I think would make great content.
Example = http://www.garykentteam.com/qa/QA196.htm

www.SanDiegoRealEstateInsider.com a custom built site, with content and MLS search capability

www.TheSanDiegoHomePage.com an Advanced Access Site, very template looking and we have not done much to it. Plans are to make it branded

www.GaryKentEverywhere.com a Craig Proctor site, lots of Craig’s content and we have had it for years.

Here are my questions (mostly from observations in this forum and others)

1. To avoid overusing a description of each site, what is the maximum times I should submit the same description?

2. While it would be easy for me to find many Advanced Access sites to exchange links with, can I be penalized for having too many cross links with sites from the same service?

3. Would it make sense for me to “mix-it-up” a bit with my urls? For example, have some go to www.SanDiegoRealEstateInsider.com and then other links to internal pages such as…www.SanDiegoRealEstateInsider.com http://www.sandiegorealestateinsider.com/priceyourhome.htm and adjust the copy on the site description. Do links to internal pages help the overall rating of the site?
