ABR was by far the best agency course that I have taken! After sitting through that course, I have decided that dual representation just isnt for me!

I have to agree about ABR. I'm currently in the process of working on this designation.

ABR & CRS are both great designations for agents wishing to offer buyer representation. ABR is purely aimed for buyer representation, CRS gives a broader coverage for all types of buyers (residential & investors), however, the courses offered add definite value to the buyers rep. Whatever your decision I know you'll enjoy the courses! Good Luck!

Buyers Representation:
Locally: we are governed under the law of agency with the applicable and corresponding fiduciary duties and the Code of Ethics all of which have become “the law” under our legislation.
I, personally believe single agency and Buyer broker representation is the best form of protection for a client, because the client can hold the agent responsible for any error or omission or breach of fiduciary duty that was detrimental to the client’s interest.
Someone once said that “Knowledge is power” and a lot of real estate problems seem to stem from various areas of law, therefore, I believe that any legal knowledge that can be obtained from any course of study would be time and money well spent.
Suggested reading might involve Agency Law, Contract Law, and Administrative law, to just name a few areas.
