I'm sure most of you use Craigslist to post new listings. BiggerPockets.com has unveiled its own version of the "FREE real estate directory".

Our community or real estate investors is a great place to show off the latest properties you have available!

I'm confused on how this gets the word out about a property? Directories are only as good as someone can find.

I was actually skeptical of this directory but went and looked at it - not bad. It's a decent place to add listings and, most importantly, the blog provide do follow links. Conglomerates like this, to include Trulia and Active Rain, need to give agents/brokers motivation when building content for someone else's site. I just don't understand why people pay for it when it comes to Active Rain.
