A condo I am bidding on right now has restriction from HOA --- 25% for lease, it already reached max.

So I called HOA, and said can not rent to anybody any more. Otherwise, will pursue legal suit.

So I worried, should I keep trying this property?

Any way to get around this kind of situation?

You can apply with the board for an exception but good luck with that.If you purchase and violate the agreement they can take legal action against you.If you are going to rent this out I would move on to something else.

Wendy, that all depends on what your goals are. Since this IS an investment thread.. I am assuming you will not be an owner occupant. If you are not going to be an owner occupant your only viable option is to attempt to flip to an owner occupant. Lack of ability to lease will devalue the property to any buyer.

You have to do the math if your intent is to flip. If you not going to flip, or have owner occupancy... why are you even considering it?
