We would like to buy a investment property and are interested in the idea of a rental pool. There is a Canadian company called 2020 Properties that does this and friends of ours have done well with them.

We do not want to be landlords so at minimum we would have a management company look after the rental. As this would be our first investment property we like the idea of a rental pool that shares in the costs/profits.

Any thoughts on the good or bad of rental pools? Does anyone know of other rental pool opportunites?
