For years I have seen him on TV and the success stories of investing in realestate using his programs. Has anyone used his program and if so, tell me if it worked for you? \:\)

I have heard good things about his programs. I have seen some of his material on investing in real estate and was impressed.

I picked up a copy on ebay cheap, several of my customers had it, so I wanted to see what he was teaching.

It wasn't anything I was impressed with. A lot of the techniques where out of date. He is really high on using seller financing, frankly I don't run across a high percentage of sellers that are willing to finance something.

On the other hand his info and extra course on property management was execellant.

You can get more updated and realistic information from many books under $25.00 at you local book store.

Numerous Sheets, wannabee investors continuously contact brokers/ agents that deal in investment property but are generally the poorest equipped to understand todays real estate markets and which creative options work best for an area or specific opportunity.

Most of Sheets Courses remain in their celloPak months if not years after purchase. Sheets sells courses not effective knowledge and does have an unrealistic affinity to owner financing which is a potential tool but not as Sheet's program show its use.

You would be better off, picking up books from several different authors and see what is most logical to you and would best fit your investment goals..... Sheets high priced courses is in general a very poor investment.

Join an investment club instead, and visit the public library often. Carlton Sheets techniques might work in some markets but not in the market I'm in. And I always advise my clients against owner financing.
