What would be the best book to read to learn step by step on how to invest in tax liens? I want a book to basically teach me all i'll need to know about tax liens to get started.

I remember from before when i searched about this since I live in LA that they were going to have tax lien sales around this time of the year so i want to make sure I get a few and get the education i need before i start. So what do you guys recommend would be the best book for this?

You will probably find that for Louisiana, an exception paragraph will exist in almost any book. Your state laws are still too French based to make them effective and understandable.

You would probably be better off going to your local tax office and getting copies of the statutes and their specific rules on the process. Most national book writers will not bother to include it since it is so strange. I have several books and they all seem to avoid Louisiana by adding warnings and exceptions.
