This has to be the greatest Home renovation show on TV at the moment. The other stuff that you normally see is pretty boring.

These guys are the "American Chopper" of home reno- They've made a great business out of it. I honestly look out for any shows or re-runs.

My first love is still the home investment market. It's great to see someone making money doing it.

Yeah I love the show Flip this House. However, I really liked it better when Trademark Properties from South Carolina was on it. I don't think there are any new episodes with Trademark; it seems to be all San Antonia or Georgia.

Trademark didn't do a second season,after the first they were so busy that they did not have time to do the show or film for a second season.

They are filming some new ones in atlanta.One was shot around the zoo recently.

I never got to see the Trademark ones. I'll look out for re runs. The San Antonio version had a great epeisode this week. These guys are excellent.

That show is so misleading you should remember it is for entertainment purpose only.

"Cases" are highly edited for 'Wow'. Anytime I watched one I saw holes so big I thought this is a joke they are not reflective of the reality. The numbers never add up or they left out major expenses.

I used to get upset then I remembered it is just entertainment.

My girlfriend is a Doctor and I asked her what is it like to watch ER? She said "Oh they just throw in enough technical stuff to make it look real, its a joke as far as reality"

Same thing for this show. Its nice someone decided to cash in on the National Craze and create entertainment out of it.

I don't care much for the numbers because between Capital gains tax, Income tax and property taxes it blows most of that budjet to pieces.

I do enjoy the program and its good to watch the contractors get manipulated for a change. I love the Holmes on Holmes series and you get to see how these contractors take people for a ride, just because people aren't in the industry.

Can you imagine if you were the person that bought one of those rehabbed houses and later saw the episode on television where the rehabbers cut every possible corner? I'd be p*ssed.

I often think about that. These fuys must feel like such losers when they realise they paid 50 grand more than what the cost was.

I suppose if you do the due dilligence and you still buy then you should have no complaints later.

I don't believe the prices are real. I looked up the house last week that they supposedly paid $65K for, put $20K into remodeling and sold it for $136K. Zillow says it's worth $107K. The average for houses on that street is about $85K.

I think they just made up the $136K to make the program more interesting.

Also I find it hard to believe that anyone would fill a hole where a swimming pool used to be with mulch and show it on national TV.

I agree with the poster above -- this is entertainment, not real life.

How a new drinking game? Sit around with a bunch of realtors and investors and play "Catch the BS".

I'd rather watch this than "desperate housewives" I can't stand wasting time. At least when I watch these reno shows I get entertained and I watch a part of reality (excuse the pun) in a business I enjoy ie. real estate

Same reason my GF watches ER. She doesn't care if its BS its about her industry.
