I have been reviewing homes in different areas of Oregon. Does anyone think that any certain area in Oregon has more potential than others?

Its a fast growing state like the entire west. What are you interested in doing with the "home" that you buy? There is really potential in any area, you just have to find the right properties.

I have an associate from my office that moved to Oregon and I couldn't believe how affordable it is. I'm looking for 3 to 4 units in any condition if the numbers work. I've looked at Newport, Salem, and in some smaller cities in East Oregon. I pay about $100,000 a unit for multi-unit here depending on the size and location. Have you purchased Oregon property?

I live in Oregon. I work in Washington. Both states are really booming down here but we are in a hard core sellers market in Washington. Bend Oregon has so much potential. They have the Central Oregon Comm College which is one of the best in the state and they just added a branch of Oregon State University there. Plus good retirement town. Not very many condos or multi family yet. The town is growing like crazy and I think it is still pretty cheap.

Can the Quality of life in the Northwest be beat (USA)?? Probably only by (B.C.)

Anyhow it sounds like oregon isn't as pricey as Seattle, and I keep harping about both states online judicial systems...

P.S. I might just have to move out thier before I turn 30.

I'll have to drive thru that area soon. I'll be headed to Seattle, my favorite city on Earth. I can't imagine any other area having more of a sellers market than here in California. Most sellers are selling property "as is" because they can. Buyers paying for their own home warranty, or me. I competed against 7 offers for a buyer that got beat out on price, and again a home that went $10,000 over listed price. It's nuts!
