Recently a large tract of waterfront land came avaialble in my area. About 1000 acres with around 9000 feet of water frontage. Asking over $20 Million. This is not my listing, but I would sure like to find a buyer. How would I go about finding investors interested in this large of a purchase. This is much larger than anything that I have dealt with before. The property is being marketed as a possible resort area or a subdivision. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not meaning to sound too harsh on this but if you have to ask this question your chances of finding a buyer for a 20+M investment property/developement are slim to none. Every commercial agent in the area has already put this out to their contacts and prospects.

How long have you been an agent? Any commercial experience?

Thats why I am asking ... I know that I won't get this one but the next time something like this comes up I want to know where to locate these big time investors.

Great Idea!

Here is another one. Learn something about flipping real estate, you can make even more money. Get investors with money to tie up the property then sell it to somebody else (developer etc.)

Actually, after doing some research on this property it turns out that the place is over-run with Bald Eagles they have been there for years and years, and being that it is illegal to build anything within 1000 feet of a B E nest I really don't see much happening with this property. haha
