I'm looking to start investing in property and was looking for feedback as to whom I can hire to handle the details of these transactions on my behalf.

I realize that it would be cheapest and perhaps more exciting for me to learn to handle these these transactions myself. However, I've learned over the years that it's sometimes best to consult an expert.

Are there individuals who "just" handle other people's investments? A property investment firm or consultant of sorts? Or would I just hire a Real Estate Attorney, bring them a deal and have them do the paperwork?

Looks like you're in Cali. Realtors actually do most of the legwork out here. If you want someone to read everything through for you and to sign, you're probably going to need an attorney. Otherwise, I'm not sure I've ever heard of any kind of "consultant firm". If you find out otherwise, please let us all know.

Your best bet is to find a Realtor that specializes in Investment property. If you are looking for commercial properties look for someone with a CCIM.
You will also need a good real estate attorney and an accountant that truely understands investment properties.

what part of CA are you in? I have a friend there that has specialized in investment properties for around 25 years. so he could point you in the right direction.
