Hello,

Can someone please advise what C type property means, as opposed to A or B type property. I've only heard of ABC credit, not property.

Thanks!!
Robyn

Often in Condos, Type A, B and C and even D generally refer to the quality level of the specific unit in relationship to others within the same development. In my area it is generally a measure of the View of the Gulf Quality and condition of units appointments.

It can often be confused the the layout of a property in a cookie cutter development or condo where floor plans are Type A, B, C.... ect.

Robyn, "C class" investment properties are usually those that have reached the point where they are in need of substantial upgrades to be brought up to a level where they can compete with "Class A" and "Class B" properties. This means that many times they will see vacancies rise due to their becoming obsolete when compared with these "better" property types.
