Interesting. Though my post was almost three months ago, I just went to the link I suggested and did a search on Orange County Real Estate with your site's URL.

Taking into account that Google personalizes search results and you can't compare my search with yours, it was only three positions off. It was one position off with Yahoo and right on with MSN.

I should have said that the source I use to watch site rankings only looked at the first 50 results, but it's quite accurate in that 50. One of the things that's a bit disconcerting about this forum is sweeping statements that might be accurate in some cases (yes, there's been some weird posts in this thread) but are made in reference to all.

Yea, I looked at that tool and it was pretty accurate for the first 50 on the couple that I checked.

Googlerankings.com used to check pretty deep but the last time I looked it didn't appear as I remembered it so I haven't used it in a year or so.

I use WebCEO to check my rankings as it uses Googles API and it's pretty reliable. One thing that you can do, to check the deep ones, is to used the advanced search, set it to display 100 results and then use the "find in page" function in your browser and just enter your domain.
