Hello Everyone,

I secretly solicited advice from Doug a few weeks ago and now I think I am ready to take some public criticism.

I have created a website whose sole purpose to provide a venue for Everyday Folks and Subject Matter Experts to post articles about various different topics. I am allowing contributors to included one way Links back to their website or website and it is all FREE.

My purpose, to build a content rich directory full of relevant links. My hope, as the site grows it will help improve SEO and PR for anyone contributing.

There is no content right now; I am working on sample content as you read this.

I think the idea is great, there are lots of directories out there just like yours. I think by providing free backlinks it will be easier for you to get more people to sign up.

A few things you may consider.

The design of your directory is a little bit old. Personally when I look at the website it just makes me click the back button or close the window.

I hope you take the above as a friendly suggestion and not a bad remark.
