I was just curious if any of you realtors have used open-realty.org open source for your web site?

It's a pretty decent app, I've been playing around with it. It'll work fine on a $5 a year hosting plan which is nice. There's a discussion group somewhere I stumbled on for people using it and you can see example sites and templates in action. Of course it depends on your Internet strategies whether it'll be good for you.

I like it as an option for real estate sites. You just have to add some functionality to it and create a new template for it.

Looks like a great product for those realtors that didn't buy a template site with something like it built in.

I was addicted to the original Open Realty script by Jon Roig. I even forked it and rewrote alot of the code to make it publically accessable: http://www.ebigman.com/nohog/index.php

I haven't worked on it for a while -too many such sites already.

I've since built a single agent's script from the ground up: http://www.ebigman.com/REScript/index.php It has the basics right now but I plan to make it the ultimate real estate CRM.

Anyone want a free copy let me know.

One of my sites azmanufacturedhousing.com is an Open-Realty site. It works great for my purposes.

We use OR v2.2.0 - we think it is very good (open source) with excellent support in the OR forum.

Great value for money!!!

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
