Hi,

I'm new to the forums and I just put out our company's website. Just looking for some feedback on visuals, usability, coding, and any other constructive criticism that you could give. The url is http://www.webpropertiesinc.com , Thanks!

I like it, easy to use, easy nav and layout, good width and haight. However if you wanted kick it up a notch on the visuals, make it stand out a bit more. Start with a very thin black border around the white background, barely noticable but it will give it more depth. Background is nice but how about some texture, like the old go2.com had., blue with subtle black. Your logo needs some polishing. It has a nice design but needs a more crisp look and depth, 3d. I would under lay your header, not counting the logo, with very sharp, powerful, business like picture, and your company saying on top of photo, while keeping the logo where it is. I would get rid of the "welome to" as you repeat it twice right off the bat and the word "Providing". I like how you kept color flow the same, but to bring it together the bottum bar should be the exact same color as your top site map bar, blue. Depending on how you plan to have people access your site, you might want to carefully review you title tag, IE: "WA Property Managment" and you might want to also do something like this on your inner pages, depending on your goals for seo.I looked at your Broodmoor page, nice folllow thru with the lay out and nice touch with the pictures. Just constructive criticism, please do not take offence. Nice job and good luck with your site.

Loc: Hartford, Connecticut area.
Great job on the site. In my opinion, your site design is better than almost every other site that is mentioned here that I take the time visit. And these are sites that are asking top $ from the customer to create. You did a fantastic job!

If I really had to nit-pick, I would second the previous reply to make the logo stand out more. Perhaps simply changing the blue background border (which I found a bit hard on the eyes...especially when trying to read the text on the left hand side closest to the border..like where the word "Welcome" is positioned.) to white would focus more attention onto the logo.

Do you have a company website where you offer your web design services? If you do, I recommend you put it in your profile here on the message board. I'd like to visit it.

It is very clean and I like it - I have seen alot of sites that are so jumbled up with stuff it would just confuse the consumer and go else where - Looks Good - the only thing i would change is the header make it stand out more give it some uniqueness.........

The page looks good as well as the source. There are a couple of things that I would change.

1. "

" this use of the non breaking space is unecessary with the proper CSS style.

2. There are a lot of places where inline styles are being used.

For example:

"
"
"
"
""

3. Not sure what this is here for...

4. The page could use a DOCTYPE as well.

Other than that, it's looking good. Taking out those inline styles will save you some bandwidth each month as well as making updating the page a lot easier.
