Blogging for SEO reasons part 2

Please check out http://blog.garykentteam.com in a nice-constructive-criticism way and tell me what you think. Most of the content we have used so far comes from an e-newsletter that my boss, Gary Kent writes each week.

The goal of the blog is two-fold, to be usable and presentable as a resource to the San Diego Real Estate market and also as an SEO function to increase develop content that links back to our sites ( http://www.SanDiegoRealEstateInsider.com is our stealth site).

Can the group please weigh in with suggestions:
To improve this site (layout etc)
To promote the site (I am so ignorant of RSS and blog promotion)
Things to be sure to include in blog (from readability, promotion and SEO functions)
Things to avoid at all costs!

There is a lot that you can do, starting from submissions to blog directories to getting accounts with places such as www.technorati.com and http://del.icio.us/ (a social bookmarking site). You can spend 24 hours a day promoting a blog and anything that you do will help.
