I am looking for someone to help me develop a resource website for brokers and agents. Nothing like it exists that I'm aware of.

Due to other commitments I just don't have the time to put into it. Once it is developed it should make a modest amount of money from Google adsense advertising & banner ads from which we can share the profits.

Ideally I'd like to find a 50/50 partner who will develop and run the site. I'll supply hosting (unix) and much of the content.

I have a temp site up using Joomla but it's very rough and not complete. I'd like to make it a quality site and valuable resource for professionals.

at 100% that wouldn't attract a worthy partner, let alone 50/50.

That's fine. I'm not looking for someone motivated by money. Won't take alot to get this going and 50/50 is more then fair. A company that provides products/services to the industry will find this a profitable endeavor.

I hope you realize that time and knowledge are way more expensive then the money you'd be spending on hosting and keeping the site running.

I'd recommend outsourcing it someone if you have the money. Hire someone to install, run and maintain the info you need. Maybe give him your ideas and have him implement it. Otherwise I doubt anyone will be willing to do it at 50/50. AdSense revenues are a long term project and don't come quickly.

I guess it all depends how much of the resources you already have available. If you're expecting the other guys to also research that, it may be hard to find someone. Otherwise, it should be to difficult to get the website up and running.

I have to agree with these guys. I work in the web design business, and specialize in websites for agents. I look at this deal and I couldnt recommend it to anyone.

First you could host the site for around 19.95 a month. Then if you took the time you could do the content yourself by searching the internet and reading a few books. As for a Joomla template, You can find those free all over the internet.

And there is something like that on the internet. And you can find it at www.cleverwealth.com.
